Killen•WOOD is operated by Tim Killen at his home in Orinda, CA. Tim, a retired electrical engineer, has been designing and building furniture for more than 36 years. His home is furnished with hundreds of handcrafted antique reproductions. Killen•WOOD’s mission is to provide: · Instruction on building useful and beautiful pieces of furniture and also on use of SketchUp in woodworking (See teaching roles at Mt Diablo Adult Education) · Detailed procedures and drawings on museum quality furniture · Detailed design of antique furniture including all joint configurations and finishing techniques · Constructed pieces of furniture |
