Reproduction of 18th C style batten doors in old-growth redwood. Uses reproduction clinch nails, and wrought iron strap hinges with screw pintles. Tongue and groove joints in redwood planks.

Construction of Double Batten Door. After visiting Williamsburg, I was convinced of applying batten doors. There must be several hundred of these style doors throughout the buildings in Williamsburg. These doors are now located on a timber frame building in old-growth redwood.
